Description: A proper little rabbit with a green ribbon tied pretty bow sips tea from a china teacup. On the tile floor in front is the tea set, including teapot, sugar bowl, sugar tongs, milk pitcher and more teacups, tea spoons resting on the saucers. Perhaps there is to be a tea party! Border pattern of green English chintz.

Beatrix Potter normally signed her works with her three initials in a lower corner, but she continued her playful use of lettering in this particular painting and placed them on the key tag instead, which I find quite charming.
